In 2000, we fully financed the Alternative Health Care Clinic, an orthopaedic clinic run by Father Peter, assistant priest of the Chilimpur parish.

This clinic provides care for individuals suffering from chronic illnesses (such as tuberculosis, arthritis, paralysis, osteoarthritis, rheumatism, cervical and lumbar spondylosis) and who very often belong to tribal groups that are rejected by other hospitals due to the Indian caste system.
In addition to the building, we provide the necessary machinery for treatments, two wells for drinking water and five houses to host the relatives of the patients hospitalised at the clinic.

With physiotherapy, homoeopathic treatments, tractions, magnets, ultrasound, physical exercises, Father Peter and his staff treat more than 130 people a day.
