DONATION OF SOLAR IRRIGATION SYSTEMS

8 SOLAR PUMPS FOR FARMER FAMILIES

Thanks to the 5×1000 funds for the financial year 2021, Missione Calcutta, in close collaboration with the local association Sainam Foundation Farmer CO-OP in the province of Surin, has funded the purchase of solar pumps to initiate income-generating activities for Sainam Foundation.

The solar pumps will be provided to 5 farmer families, ensuring a constant water supply for rice cultivation and other crops, whose profits will be reinvested in the activities of the Sainam Foundation Farmer CO-OP Cooperative.

The purchase was made in the summer of 2023.
