The project will be realised in Rajnagar by Reward Welfare Association (REWARD), a local partner of Missione Calcutta Onlus since 2017. REWARD, on a 4 acres of land it already owns in Rajnagar, intends to start an ecological and sustainable farm, which will directly involve 30 groups of women in the production of organic agricultural products that can then be sold. In addition to the agricultural intent, part of the land will also be dedicated to raising cows, goats, chickens, ducks and pigs.

To support the work, it is planned to build a day care centre dedicated to the education of the women’s children with educational activities for preschool children and older children, mainly during the monsoon period, when heavy rains prevent school attendance.

The 300 women involved in the project, thanks to the increased income, will be able to improve the quality of life of their children by enabling them to study, receive a healthy and complete diet, and meet sufficient hygiene standards.

The beneficiaries of the project will therefore be much more than 300! In fact, it is expected to reach more than 900 children (children of the beneficiary women) who will see their quality of life improve, with greater protection of their rights and a substantial((8 response to their needs.
